The U.S. Tolkien Guide
Seven Stones Bookshop has limited stock on hand. Please contact
me regarding availability if you wish to purchase multiple copies of any given product.
Sometimes images are the actual books for sale, but if it looks like a stock photo it
probably is. Photos or further descriptions of any book are very happily provided
upon request.
Your shopping basket always opens in the same window; you may wish to leave it open
until you are done shopping.
I use PayPal to process online payments. You do NOT need a PayPal account to pay securely with a credit card through PayPal. Seven Stones gladly accepts checks or money orders from U.S. residents. If you choose "Hold / Other" in the shopping basket payment options, an invoice will be sent to the email address you provided. Books ordered with the hold option will be reserved for you until payment is received, up to 14 days. Inquiries, requests and hold orders are also accepted through the contact page.
Refunds are given for returned merchandise that is received within 30 days of the purchase date, no questions asked. Postage will also be refunded for items damaged in transit (please do not discard the original packaging, and contact me right away). Your order is packed with care, and I guarantee not only that it is, but that it will arrive in the condition advertised.
Unless the shop is running a special on postage, which it currently IS, the shopping basket calculates postage based on your location and the total estimated weight of the package. Service upgrades are optional for all locations. You may place your order through the shopping basket and arrange for an alternate service : choose "Hold / Other" in payment options, and the complete range of available services for your location will be sent to the email address you provided.
Orders are shipped within 2 business days of receipt of payment. All domestic packages shipped by Seven Stones Bookshop are sent with delivery confirmation, so if your package does not arrive it will be replaced or refunded in full. Transit time varies, usually between 4 and 8 days, sometimes more during peak shipping seasons (and occasionally for no clear reason). For guaranteed delivery within 5 days, please request Priority Mail service.
Surface mail services are no longer available from the U.S. Postal Service.
USPS First Class International is now our standard service for parcels under 4 pounds
(2.27kg). Parcels over 2.27kg will be shipped Priority Airmail.
The shopping cart currently only calculates shipping to CANADA, EU, UK, EIRE, AUS, NZ and
NIPPON. For shipping to other locations please contact me for a shipping quote -
the charges may or may not be different. Upgrading to Priority for parcels under 4 lb.
is an option. Express Mail and Bulk M-Bag service is available by request.
Please note that Seven Stones does not guarantee delivery of untraceable mail.
Seven Stones Bookshop may accept your local currency - please inquire if you prefer not to
pay in U.S. Dollars. £ and € almost always welcome : )
